Emma & James Music is a husband-and-wife Arizona duo known for smoky, expressive vocals, strong musicianship, and a cinematic, story-driven sound that blends indie-blues and alternative rock. Their live performances balance intimacy and emotional depth with a polished, memorable stage presence, creating an experience that feels both distinctive and inviting.
Their sets feature original songs at the heart of the performance, along with select covers that fit naturally within their style. Whether performing in listening rooms, wineries, breweries, private events, corporate settings, or curated community gatherings, Emma & James bring a live show that feels classy, heartfelt, and more meaningful than a standard background-music experience.
For events that call for a fuller presentation, Emma & James can also expand beyond the core duo format, offering select trio and full-band options. No matter the setting, clients and audiences can expect professionalism, musical chemistry, and a sound that leaves a lasting impression.

TECHNICAL INFO & STAGE SETUP
Core configuration: 2-piece — vocals and guitar
(Optional keyboard / piano elements may be added when appropriate.)
Expanded format options:
Duo, trio (with cajón/percussion or drum kit), and select full-band configurations are available depending on event needs and date availability.
• Typical input needs for duo:
• 2 vocal mics
• 1–2 DI inputs for guitar
• 1 DI for keyboard, if applicable
Sound / PA:
We are happy to plug into a house PA when available
• For smaller venues, private events, and intimate rooms, we may be able to provide a compact self-contained PA setup depending on event needs and date availability.
• For larger venues, professional sound reinforcement and full PA support may be available depending on event needs and date availability.
Space requirements:
• Duo: approximately 8’ x 6’ performance area
• Larger footprint may be needed for trio or full-band setups
Power:
• Access to a standard power outlet is appreciated
